LittleBigPlanet 2 Will Include Move Demo

Media Molecule's LittleBigPlanet 2 will eventually support PlayStation Move controls, but not when the game ships in January 2011. That doesn't mean that your glowy orb things will have to sit idle, however. In an interview with Eurogamer, a Media Molecule employee said that the game will ship with a few proof-of-concept games to tide Move users over at least temporarily.

"With the main game there will be an extra game - possibly on another disc, maybe on the same disk - that will contain 10-ish levels that demonstrate how Move could work with LittleBigPlanet 2," Media Molecule's community manager James Spafford told the site.

"And shortly after release we'll do a full DLC pack that's purely Move, and we'll give away the free controls so people can make their own Move levels as well."

While it's a drag that the game won't support Move fully out of the box, if the decision means we'll get our hands on the main game then we can't complain too loudly. After all, Media Molecule has already delayed LittleBigPlanet 2 once, and doing it again just for the sake of Move might be too much for us to bear.
