Forza And Top Gear Partner Up

by Matt Miller on Sep 30, 2010 at 07:35 AM

The world's best car show and Microsoft's finest racing title are uniting to form a Voltron-esque engine of awesomeness.

BBC's Top Gear has long delivered the best TV show about cars around, and Microsoft  knows it. Top Gear will be collaborating on upcoming projects with Microsoft and Turn 10, the internal Microsoft studio that makes Forza.

The first fruits of cooperation will be on display on October 26. A special 90 minute Top Gear TV download as well as Stig's Garage Car Pack will be available on Xbox Live. All of this will be included in the new Forza Motorsport 3 Ultimate Collection releasing the same day. The new collection includes the original game plus all the add-ons to date.

"It's incredibly exciting to be teaming up with such a big name game,” Top Gear's creative director Andy Wilman said in a press release. “I fear we'll have to be a bit more ambitious and a bit less rubbish when dealing with these chaps."
