I didn't know there was an active community dedicated to hacking Wii games, but I found some definite proof while scouring the internet this morning. This hack, called Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii, looks like a ton of fun and almost on the same level of quality as the actual product. Granted, all I've seen is a couple of trailers that are certainly hiding any imperfections or glitches, but this looks awesome based on what's shown. While it looks cool, I highly doubt I'll ever get to play it since I'd probably set my Wii on fire trying to figure out how to get it to work.
