Valkyria Chronicles II DLC Coming Soon!
While the rest of the gaming world is playing Halo: Reach, I'm still going strong on Valkyria Chronicles II. If you are too, you'll be happy to hear that Sega has announced a mission pack DLC, along with codes for free unlockable characters!
As revealed in the two entries on Sega's VC II blog, the DLC will be available this month as a single pack containing several new missions. Two have been revealed so far, including a return to the city of Mellvere and a face-off with Class D in the Diebal Mountains.
Additionally, Sega is slowly revealed codes to add additional soldiers to your roster. You may have already unlocked Isara by transferring your original Valkyria Chronicles save to your PSP memory stick, but now you can gain her without all the hassle by entering the following code:

Just go to the "extras" section from the main menu, and select the password option to add Isara and Faldio to Class G. However, note that these characters don't have any unique missions or story segments like your other team members. Of course, neither of them are the character that fans really want in VC II, an honor that belongs to Selvaria. Thankfully, the blog post promises "Selvaria fans, your day will come."
And don't forget: We should be getting some more news about Valkyria Chronicles III from Sega out of TGS this week. I'm hoping for a console version (instead of handheld), and I wouldn't be surprised if it went multiplatform. After all, the more people that play Valkyria Chronicles, the more installments in the series we get!
