Abaddon: Retribution Now On Xbox Live Indie
The sequel to one of the best Xbox Live Indie games is now available, and it only costs a dollar.
Firestorm Studios has completed and released Abaddon: Retribution, the second installment of its excellent space shooter on the Xbox Live Indie channel. The game maintains the top-down outer space view of its predecessor, but adds several new elements. You also still upgrade both your small ship and the extra-large mothership you're trying to defend.
Unlike the last game, Abaddon: Retribution has a full campaign story mode that traces the tale of pilot Tara Cole and her quest to avenge her father's death at the hands of the Aurin Empire. There's also a competitive deathmatch mode, as well as online cooperative play.
If that doesn't sell you, then the price tag will. A free trial lets you try the game out, but it only costs 80 Microsoft points ($1) to get the full game.
