More Transformers DLC Is Out, See It In Action

by Jeff Cork on Sep 07, 2010 at 03:23 AM

Activision has released a second batch of DLC for Transformers: War for Cybertron, and we've got a new trailer for it. The $10 download adds two new playable characters--Zeta Prime and Dead End--as well as five new multiplayer maps. Two of the maps are designed for the game's Escalation mode. In the Autobot map Pulse, players fight inside of Trypticon and try to overload the massive Decepticon's central power core. Static gives players a variety of trap-filled rooms.

The other three maps are Horizon, set on Autobot home planet Iacon; Sector, a Decepticon maintenance facility; and Metropolis, set high above the bombed-out Iacon ruins.

None of this seems to answer why robots from another planet take on the form of Earthly vehicles. Oh well.
