Gaming Icons “Cartooned”

In a similar way to InfiniteContinue’s abstract Street Fighter art, SoundOfDesign’s (Ty Lettau) simplified “Cartooned” collection takes character’s we’re familiar with and puts a unique twist on them. His tribute to Legend of Zelda features an array of portraits, which you can check out above.

We discovered these gems via Flickr, but a bit of digging shows that Lettau is actually a design manager at Adobe – further evidenced by his excellent art.
