Today Ubisoft announced a new multiplayer first-person shooter with a ridiculous premise and a creepy cartoon art style.

The game is called Bloody Good Time, and will be available on XBLA and PC this fall. Players will shoot each other in a variety of locations based on horror film cliches. Players will also choose their character from a list of B-movie stereotypes, such a "the bikini beach babe, the creepy clown, and the super jock." And the weapons? Yep, those are goofy too, including frying pans and an exploding remote-controlled rat.

If the theme of the game has you feeling a bit skeptical, it's worth noting that the game will use Valve's Source engine, which has been specialized for creating multiplayer shooters. Let's hope the core gameplay is worth overlooking the goofy art style.
