EA Introduces Free Madden Facebook Game

EA Sports and Facebook are teaming up to let you play against friends for free in the fantasy football/card game Madden NFL Superstars.

The game, which can be installed via Facebook, lets you build and manage a team of NFL players and go against others in Scrimmage, Season (featuring a progressive ladder structure), and NFL Pro League modes. The latter has you facing off against all of this season's teams.

Although the game may be free to play, you can certainly buy your way to success via microtransactions of the title's features and items if you can't win them outright. These include Game Changers, which let you level the playing field against superior competition.

Madden NFL Superstars is out now on Facebook.
