Why We Hope David Hasselhoff Is In Street Fighter X Tekken
Capcom and Namco's duel game Street Fighter X Tekken project just got announced a few short weeks ago, but already fighting fans have started to dream up the ultimate match ups. However, if you were hoping to see any character outside of the Street Fighter or Tekken franchises don't hold your breath too long.
In a recent interview, we asked Capcom's general manager and Street Fighter X Tekken producer Yoshi Ono, if there was a chance of seeing any characters from the Darkstalker or Soulcalibur franchises sneak their way into this title. He told us, "In terms of pure probability, David Hasselhoff probably has a better chance at being in the game than any of the Darkstalkers or Soulcalibur characters. But having said that, we don't even know all the normal characters we'll be putting in the game let alone secret characters, so that sort of question is probably a year or two early."
So there you have it, Darkstalker and Soulcalibur fans, start writing your letters to David Hasselhoff urging him to appear in Street Fighter X Tekken. It's probably the best shot we've got at ever seeing our dream Ivy vs. Morrigan matchup.
