Star Wars Clone Wars MMO Public Beta Begins
If you've been waiting for a chance to experience the free-to-play MMO, your moment has arrived.
The public beta for Star Wars: Clone War Adventures is officially open for business. You can swing over to the game's official website and request a beta key, which will give you early access to the game's youth-targeted virtual world. The final version is set to release to all players on September 15th.
Clone Wars Adventures won't cost a thing for the standard experience, but a $5.99 monthly membership will offer some special bonuses. The game features minigames, daily events, and a social playground built around the Star Wars experience.
Before more hardcore players start crying foul -- this game isn't for you. The Old Republic is on its way, and complaining about it won't make it come any sooner. But if your little brother or sister wants something fun to do with lightsabers and starfighters, this one might be right up their alley.
