20 New Heroes On The Move Screens

Both Kinect and PlayStation Move are showing signs of strong post launch support, something you don't often see for video game peripherals. Sony has a handful of high profile games lined up for 2011. Along with Sorcery, the Move game that piques my interest the most, I've been hearing good things about Sony's Heroes on the Move, the game that unites Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, and Sly Cooper for the first time to compete in a wide variety of challenges and events.

Despite what you may think, Heroes on the Move isn't a collection of motion-controlled minigames. It's a fully-featured action/adventure that doesn't just aim to entertain with its gameplay. It also features a story in the vein of Ratchet & Clank that explains how all three game universes have collided.

Here's Sony's synopsis of this tale: "A mysterious alien duo has swept through the galaxy, fiendishly snatching entire chunks from the worlds of Ratchet, Jak and Sly to create a mysterious new planet in the galaxy. After being abducted to this new world, Ratchet, Clank, Jak, Daxter, Sly Cooper and Bentley are invited by their gracious alien hosts to compete in friendly, yet challenging competition to test their extraordinary skills…but as our heroes discover, all is not as it seems. Our fearless heroes soon find themselves joined together in the ultimate battle to protect the galaxy – and in a fight for their own survival."

Heroes on the Move is developed by Nihilistic Software, and is currently scheduled to hit store shelves Spring 2011.
