Cyrax, Kitana, And New Stages Revealed For Mortal Kombat
If you're as much of a fan of the 2D Mortal Kombat games as me, you're no doubt ecstatic about the upcoming back-to-the-roots installment. Five new screenshots have been released at GamesCom, and they're sure to get you even more pumped.
You'll probably notice the newly-announced Cyrax and Kitana immediately, and they're looking true to form. The former is seen utilizing his electric net attack, and the latter is using her trademark fans. Whether or not Cyrax has a Predator-related fatality is yet to be seen, but it's great to see the yellow hunk of junk regardless.
Also seen in the new pics are two returning stages from Mortal Kombat 3: Desert and Bell Tower. We haven't seen many stage fatalities yet in the new MK, but we wouldn't be surprised to see the multi-story plunge through the Bell Tower floor return. Everything coming out of the NetherRealm camp has been fantastic regarding this new title, and these new screens aren't doing a thing but upping our excitement for this return to form.
