Gamescom 2010
Sony's Gamescom press conference concluded with a live-action teaser for Insomniac's upcoming Resistance 3. This short video doesn't show much in terms of potential gameplay, unless of course Insomniac is designing this game like Night Trap, but you will see the Chimera in action, and people dying. You'll also see New York City teased on a billboard. A release date hasn't been given yet, but if I was a betting man, I'd say it's coming in either late 2011 or early 2012.
