New DanceDance Title Will Support The Move

by Annette Gonzalez on Aug 14, 2010 at 11:40 AM

Dance Central is already making waves across the industry on the Kinect side of things, so it sounds like Sony is ready to jump in on the motion control dance scene. Konami has announced that the PS3's first DanceDanceRevolution title will support the Move.

Move support will be similar to Wii's DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party where you'll move your arms and hands. The PlayStation Eye will come into play as well to record performances and upload them to your favorite social networking site, similar to what Konami is doing with Def Jam Rapstar. The new title in the DanceDance franchise will have 20 licensed tracks with 25 songs from Konami artists, and two new modes: Dance Off and Club Mode. Battle it out with friends in Dance Off, and perform up to 20 songs in a row with Club Mode. According to the PlayStation Blog, you can expect lots of DLC on the PlayStation Network.

The latest DanceDance title is set to release this fall.
