What Custom Soundtracks Fit What Games?

by Matt Miller on Aug 13, 2010 at 10:32 AM

We want to know the tunes you set to the games you love.

These days it's hard to complain about the soundtracks and scores of the video games we play. Whether through hiring some of the best orchestral composers or licensing music from today's biggest bands, publishers and developers are making sure the audio experience in video games is top notch. That said, everyone switches over to their own custom soundtrack from time to time.

Which games do you play with the in-game music turned off and your own music blasting? More importantly, what songs do you play as an alternative? Or are you a die hard proponent of only listening to the in-game audio?

Share your favorite tunes, and the games they should go with, in the comments below.
