Starting from Trip Hawkins' initial pitch to Madden (John was Hawkins' third choice, by the way), Hruby details the growth of the video game franchise into the billion-dollar juggernaut it is today. Along the way you'll hear some fantastic anecdotes about the series, including a great story about Madden foolishly passing on buying stock when Electronic Arts went public. "That was the dumbest thing I ever did in my life," Madden laughs.
