Next Week A Great Time To Expand Dragon Age

by Matt Miller on Aug 03, 2010 at 11:40 AM

Beginning Monday, you'll be able to get DLC from the hit BioWare RPG at a significantly discounted price.

Xbox Live is hosting some major discounts on several playable expansion packs for Dragon Age: Origins. The biggest discount is for the most significant piece of content: Dragon Age: Awakening, a full-fledged expansion to Origins, will be reduced in price from 3200 Microsoft points ($40) to 2400 ($30).

In addition, Warden's Keep will cost 400 points ($5) instead of 560 points ($7), and Return to Ostagar will drop from 400 points ($5) to 240 points ($3).

The discount prices are good from August 9th through August 22 on Xbox Live, exclusively for the Xbox 360 version of the game. The lowered prices are part of Microsoft's "Deal of the Week" promotion. As a result, you'll need to be an Xbox Live Gold member to take advantage of the offer.

Have you played any of the expanded content for Dragon Age yet? If not, do these new, lowered prices make any of these worth your time and money?
