If there are two things that have been scientifically proven to be super effective, they would be abstinence education and educational video games. Now, researchers from the University of Central Florida (I think Lynyrd Skynryd are alumni) are harnessing the power of video game technology to create a virtual simulator "game" that gives our children an opportunity to try out abstinence strategies in a safe, motion capture environment. A Florida Fox TV station blew the lid off this story, so check out their video report for more on this new, totally-not-a-big-waste-of-time-and-money project. Teen sex, your days are numbered. Especially if we can convince kids that their peers actually look like the deformed, blueish creatures from the game (see above). Yuck.
