UPDATE: Trials HD Big Thrills Expansion Headed To XBLA
Update: Cross referencing the "Q4" release date of Big Thrills against the level design winner announcements on November 15 leads one to conclude that the Trials HD expansion will hit sometime between November 15th and December 31st this year.
Original story (July 20 2010 05:42 PM): Developer RedLynx is adding a ton of tracks to its hit Xbox Live Arcade game and offering cash, prizes, and fame to users who can create their own awesome tracks.
The Big Thrills pack will release in "Q4" of this year and will include 40 brand new tracks to make you pull your hair out. There's also a contest in which anyone can submit their own custom level for a chance to be part of ten user-created stages that will be included in the expansion pack for all to play.
Prizes include:
- 1st place: $5,000 and Trials HD sweatshirt and flag
- 2nd place: $3,000 and Trials HD sweatshirt and flag
- 3rd place: $1,000 and Trials HD sweatshirt and flag
- 4th - 10th place: Trials HD sweatshirt and flag
