NPD's June Top 20 Is Out–As A Gamer, Why Do You Care?

by Jeff Cork on Jul 16, 2010 at 08:20 AM

Hot on the heels of yesterday's top 10 release, the NPD Group has revealed the top 20 software sales for the month of June. Notable entries in the expanded list include the Xbox 360 version of Transformers: War for Cybertron as well as the PS3 and 360 versions of 2010 FIFA World Cup: South Africa.

It's always good to see the sales figures, but it got us thinking about something. Do you guys take much away from these monthly numbers? Do you hope to see your favorite games crack the list when they first come out? Do you look to the figures and try to notice longer-term trends? Do you even care about NPD numbers at all?

We'd love to hear your thoughts. Take it to the comments, folks!
