The Sith Rise In Star Wars: The Old Republic Comic

by Andrew Reiner on Jul 15, 2010 at 12:55 PM

A new Sith-centric story kicks off in the fourth issue of Dark Horse's Star Wars: The Old Republic series. Sith Teneb Kel is a slave who aspires for power, but he must first prove his worth if he wishes to ascend the Dark Council ranks. The task laid out before him turns allies to enemies. Teneb must hunt down a high ranking Sith, the Emperor's apprentice.

To ensure that the continuity between the comic seies and BioWare's upcoming game (due sometime in 2011) stays consistent, this story is penned by BioWare's senior game writer Alexander Freed. It also features the amazing artwork of Dave Ross. This issue will hit shelves in October.

This brief synopsis brings up two questions that I can't wait to get answered: Who is the Emperor? And what is up with the Hutt helmet?
