Microsoft Summer of Arcade, Destination Arcade To Launch 7/21 [UPDATE]
[UPDATE] In case you missed them, the release dates for Microsoft's Summer of Arcade titles are out. Schedule your summer accordingly.
Limbo – July 21st
Hydro Thunder Hurricane – July 28th
Castlevania Harmony of Despair – August 4th
Monday Night Combat – August 11th
Lara Croft and the Guardian of the Light – August 18th
[ORIGINAL STORY] Last week Major Nelson broke the news that Xbox Live would be receiving another mini-makeover to make browsing downloadable titles more manageable – Destination Arcade. The U.S.-only service was intended to release this week, but Nelson updated his blog today stating that the Destination Arcade has been pushed back one week in order to correspond with the launch of Summer of Arcade. It’s understandable that they would want the redesign to help kick off the largest downloadable showcase of the year.
The of Summer of Arcade launches next Wednesday, July 21, and marks the release of the much-anticipated Limbo, with Hydro Thunder Hurricane, Castlevania Harmony of Despair, Monday Night Combat, and Lara Croft and the Guardian of the Light following subsequent weeks.
