Dave Quiles’ Custom Samus Impresses
The Toy Art Gallery (TAG) in Los Angeles recently played host to the Rotobox Ganmettal Celsius Custom Show and Exhibit – highlighting one-of-a-kind pieces by various artists from across the country.
One piece in particular stuck out to the folks at Vinyl Pulse – Dave Quiles’ custom tribute to Samus Aran. The figure is entirely hand carved and sculpted, with laser cut detail work. Very impressive. More impressive, though, is the light up helm and cannon.
I’ll take one, please. Too bad there is only one in existence. That, and it’s going for $1,500.
