Update: Vanquish North American Release Date, Pre-order Bonus Announced
Update: This morning we got word from Sega Europe on the European release date for Vanquish, which is set for October 22. Now Sega of America has come back with a North American release date that is a few days earlier than other regions. The sci-fi shooter will be available on October 19 in North America.
Also, just like the pre-order bonuses in Europe, you'll get the three-weapon pack (Boost Machine Gun, Anti-Armor Pistol, and Laser Cannon) if you order your copy in advance from GameStop. The weapon pack will be available for download day of release.
Original Story: Sega Europe has announced that Shinji Mikami's sci-fi shooter Vanquish will be heading to European 360's and PS3's on October 22 with special bonuses for those who pre-order. Still no word on the North American release date.
Fans who pre-order Vanquish in Europe will receive the Tri-Weapon pack that will include the Boost Machine Gun, Anti-Armor Pistol, and Laser Cannon. Also no word on any North American pre-order bonuses, but we suspect there will be some sort of similar freebies.
According to VG247, Vanquish will release in Japan on October 21, so it'd be safe to guess that a North American release date won't be too far off (hopefully). As of now it's pegged for a "winter" release.
