Fans of the classic arcade series will be able to satisfy their urge for boom-shaka-laka on October 5th. EA just sent word through the wires that the Wii-exclusive basketball title will ship to stores on October 5th. It was also nice enough to send us this shiny picture of the game's box art.

EA state that NBA Elite 11 will ship to stores on the same day as NBA Jam.
