With the sequel to 2008’s Bionic Commando Rearmed on the horizon, I got to thinking about other great Capcom platformers that would benefit from a similar remake. Fortunately, Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 producer Rey Jimenez has similar thoughts, and shared his top three Capcom remake dream projects with Game Informer.

When asked if there are any Rearmed-like remakes coming down the Capcom pipe, Jimenez said there are “A lot of thoughts and a lot of projects. You’re definitely going to see more classic IPs coming out in this 2.5D style.”

While he was tight-lipped on naming any specific titles in development, Jimenez did share the top three on his wishlist of games to remake.

“The top 3 platformers I would do would be… Strider would be as high as you can go,” he said, gushing in pure fandom of the red-scarfed swordsman. “Forgotten Worlds would probably be the next one,” he continued. “As far as the third one, I think a brawler like one of the Dungeons & Dragons games. Those are fun. That’s my top three.”

I’m definitely on board for a Strider remake.
