Holy Crap, Kid Icarus Is Back -- And In 3D!

Every year we hear the rumor that Nintendo is getting ready to announce a new Kid Icarus title. Well, this year it finally came through. At the Nintendo E3 press conference, Nintendo head Satoru Iwata announced Kid Icarus Uprising, a new title for the Nintendo 3DS. The game is the result of the mysterious "Project Sora", headed by Kirby creator Masahiro Sakurai.

The impressive video showed Pit engaged in combat both in flight and on the ground. Nintendo will also be showing a full 3D trailer for the game on the show floor, so stay tuned for more.
