Insomniac Shows Off Resistance’s Dead Ends, False Starts

by Jeff Cork on Jun 11, 2010 at 04:01 AM

With E3 coming in just a few short days, the gaming industry is rightfully focusing its attention on what’s ahead. That isn’t stopping Insomniac from looking back on its PS3 launch title, Resistance: Fall of Man, however. In a special video segment, the team looks at the alternate-history World War II shooter and talks about some of the changes that the game underwent throughout its development. Everything from its original duck-faced Chimera to its abandoned World War I roots are on the table.

It’s definitely interesting stuff, to say nothing of the timing. Why would Insomniac be talking about Resistance right now? Are they just getting nostalgic for the heady days of 2006, or is something else going on?
