Luche Libre AAA's Cover Athlete To Be Chosen Via E3 Matchup
Anyone can pick a cover athlete. Konami’s making the process a bit more interesting with its Lucha Libre AAA: Heroes del Ring. Rather than select a hot prospect or veteran athlete and call it good, the company is adding a little bit of competition to the process for its high-flying wrestling game. Konami’s booth will host a series of matches, with real-world lucha libre stars battling each other for supremacy.
The final match in the series is between Dr. Wagner and La Parka, with the victor claiming the box. There’s a lot at stake here (they're apparently ranked #1 and #2 in the world, respectively), and we’ll be sure to tell you who wins out. Other wrestlers at the show will include Psycho Clown, Murder Clown, Munster, and Mini Charly Manson. One thing’s for sure—even if the game is awful, the booth will be interesting.
