Be A Leader, Not A Follower
"When GI posted the article about the Metacritic scores received by Prince of Persia, many people immediately let the article make up their minds for them, just assuming that they wouldn't like it. Even after all of the times they probably posted about how it could lead a whole new goldmine of wonderfully adapted video game films. Just because someone who calls themselves an expert in reviewing films tells you somethings bad does not mean that they need to make decisions for you." Peter provides the argument that it's impossible to objectively convey whether or not something is good as a result of differences in opinion. Do you agree?

A Weekend at the FanimeCon Anime Convention

DTJAAAAM provides not one, not two, not three, but four photo galleries showing off his weekend at FanimeCon anime convention in San Jose. Lots of fun cosplay photos including one of...Gumby. According to his GIO page status he's also bought his 4,000th game. Congrats!

2010: The Year Of The Wii
"Given that the Wii hasn't been able to compete with the PS3 and Xbox 360 over the last couple of years, why might 2010 be the year the system will turn it around for the core gamer?" Fox will tell you why in his post that reveals reasons the Wii might break some ground this year. Is he right? Or do you think the Wii still needs some work? Share your thoughts in the post's comments section.

Protect Your Gaming History

"'Spring Cleaning' has always had a different meaning for me growing up. My mother is not and never will come close to being a collector. She is constantly throwing away items that she feels are 'only collecting dust' and need to be put away in the dumpster. Which is true for most of the stuff she throws away, with the exception of video game consoles!" Supersnake shares the personal and tragic tale of consoles that kicked the bucket, or in this case trash can, just a bit too soon.
