Three words: Red Dead Redemption. And other stuff. Read on to find out what other stuff I'm referring to, then head over to the comments section and let us know what you're playing this weekend.

Jeff C: While I’d like to pretend that I’ll get around to playing some more Alan Wake and Splinter Cell: Conviction, I’m pretty sure Red Dead Redemption won’t be leaving my disc tray for a while. I’m hoping to get some multiplayer in, but the campaign is so much fun that I don’t feel like I’m missing out by being a hermit. Sunday night is all about the Lost finale, so don’t bother sending me any game invites.

Bertz: With last week’s epic fishing trip to Lake Vermillion and a busy social calendar this spring I haven’t had much time to keep up with the latest releases. Currently I’ve got Metro 2033, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Alan Wake, Just Cause 2, and Final Fantasy XIII in the queue. With my first free weekend in a while you’d think I’d start to whittle down this pile, right? Wrong. Even though I played Red Dead Redemption to completion for the review, I haven’t got my fill of the Wild West. Spiky haired androgynous role-playing parties and revenge-fueled secret agents can wait while I wrangle a few more horses and hog tie a few more bandits.

Kato: Like probably everyone here, I’m going to be playing as much Red Dead as possible this weekend. Whether that means I’ll actually be doing any of the story missions or just hunting animals, playing poker, and messin’ around remains to be seen. So much fun.

Dan: Tonight I’m seeing the spot-on ELO cover band EL ‘n’ O once again. Tomorrow, I plan on playing a ton of Red Dead Redemption and Super Mario Galaxy 2 (16 more stars to 120). After the gaming marathon, it’s on to the Drinking Spelling Bee. On Sunday I’ll be back on the plains, hunting bears and accidentally killing horses like I’m known to do.

Jeff M: Like the rest of the office, I’m looking forward to playing more Red Dead Redemption this weekend. I’ve only scratched the surface of the single-player campaign, but the few hours I spent in multiplayer last night were just as fun – every game should let you form your own posse with your friends!

Tim: I have a strong feeling that I am nearing the end of Dragon Age. After that, I believe I will pass on the expansion and leap straight into Red Dead Redemption. Gotta grab Super Mario Galaxy 2, too! I think the road to E3 is going to be filled with six-shooters and fire flowers, and I couldn’t be happier about it!

Annette: It was my nephew's birthday earlier this week (happy 10th birthday, Matt!) so I'm heading to Chicago to celebrate his birthday with him, in other words, no games for me. The past few months have been filled with visitors, random home trips, and shoulder surgery so now I'm very behind. ***. If I had a chance, I would play Red Dead, however, I don't own a copy. Why? Because it seems it's about time I furnish my apartment. And buy groceries. Being an adult sucks. Or I could sit on the floor. And starve. And play Red Dead. Seriously considering this. What do you think?

Phil: I’m headed out of town for the second weekend in a row due to my little sister’s graduation. That means as much Red Dead Redemption and Super Mario Galaxy 2 as I can get in tonight will have to tide me over until Sunday. If possible, I’ll also check out a bit more of Split/Second, which I’ve really been enjoying despite it being overshadowed by the bigger releases this week. But let’s be serious: After an explosion-filled race or two, I’ll probably be back to hoarding stars in Mario or chasing down bounties in Red Dead.

That's it for us. You know what to do.
