Civ V Digital Deluxe Edition Announced For Steam
Today 2K Games and Valve have announced an agreement to provide Sid Meier's Civilization V in a Digital Deluxe Edition that includes an array of bonus content via Steam. PC enthusiasts who preorder the game will also receive a free map pack when the game becomes available this fall.
Steamworks features in all PC versions of Civ V will include auto-updating, achievements, DLC, and multiplayer matchmaking.The Digital Deluxe Edition will include the "Behind the Scenes at Firaxis with Civilization V" video feature, plus the game's soundtrack. If you preorder any version of Civ V, you'll also receive free DLC in the form of Cradle of Civilization Map Pack: Mesopotamia for added terrain to explore.
