New Driver Title Set In San Francisco?

While Ubisoft announced quite some time ago that it was working on a new Driver title for a 2010 or 2011 release, the company has given fans of the series few details to get excited about.  In fact, the company has given fans no details whatsoever. But a recent domain registration by Ubisoft may be the first clue as to what players can expect.

The super sleuths at superannuation are reporting that Ubisoft has recently registered the domain driversanfranciscogame.com. That wasn't a whole lot to go on, but a little sleuthing of our own revealed that San Francisco is, in fact, a city in the United States. A city that happens to feature some big ass hills and crazy, winding roads. Whether or not Ubisoft realizes that San Francisco is a real world location is impossible to know, but our guess is that they don't, as launching automobiles off of those steep inclines would certainly be no fun at all.
