The return of the good ol' days is almost upon us. Publisher Tecmo Koei has announced the release date of its updated treatment of Tecmo Bowl entitled Tecmo Bowl Throwback.
The game will be available on April 28 on XBLA, and although the press release says that it'll appear on Sony's PSN "shortly" thereafter, it would make sense that the PS3 version would hit on Thursday, April 30 since stuff traditionally hits Sony's platform on Thursdays.
Check out this trailer for the game which will show you its 2D and 3D modes, as well as how it uses cutscenes within gameplay to improve the presentation. Tecmo Bowl Throwback also features season and Pro Bowl modes, customizable rosters and teams, and online play.
