Play Lord Of Ultima For Free Right Now

Do you like strategy games, but hate the hassle of having to pay for, download, or otherwise exert any effort to play one? EA's Phenomic studio has the game for you. Today they released Lord Of Ultima, a free to play, browser-based strategy game that requires no downloads, plug-ins, or even registration to play. All that's required is surfing to the game's web page.

In Lord Of Ultima, players are tasked with "developing a humble village and evolving it into a prosperous, highly customized capital," through the standard RTS practices of collecting resources, trading with neighboring cities, and waging war on other leaders. While you won't be controlling individual units on the battlefield, the game seems to support a considerable amount of depth – at least compared to the standard Facebook games fare.

It's worth noting that in order to save your progress, you will have to eventually register with the site. Still, it's nice to be able to check out the game without, you know, having to do anything. You can look at the screens below, or just go ahead and click this link to play it already.
