Scott Pilgrim Game Should Be Awesome

Scott Pilgrim is an awesome comic book that is being adapted into an awesome movie and what could easily be an awesome game. During a concert from chiptune band Anamanaguchi, the very first images of the Scott Pilgrim game have emerged. And it looks sweet.

Set at the PAX East gaming show in Boston, Anamanaguchi played a show in celebration of the announcement that they're writing the soundtrack for the Scott Pilgrim game. Apparently, this also means they get access to in-game assets because Attractmo.de took a ton of photos of the visuals projected behind the band.

The art is from Paul Robertson, whose animation handiwork you may remember from Pirate Baby's Cabana Battle Street Fight 2006, a video that looks like the coolest brawler ever, but unfortunately wasn't playable.

Now that Ubisoft is making that dream come true via Scott Pilgrim, it's time to punch some faces. Check out a video of the performance below:
