by Tim Turi on Mar 17, 2010 at 08:03 AM

No series does fun, grind-heavy RPGs like Shin Megami Tensei. The newest upcoming installment, Strange Journey, promises to be flexible with your schedule, allowing on-the-go battles with the Nintendo DS. This new trailer showcases the game's stark environment and classic first-person RPG combat.

In the game, you'll travel to Antarctica to investigate an anomaly that is swelling across the world. Called the "Schwarzwelt" (German for black world), the enigma ends up being a rift into a demon-infested world. It becomes your job to exterminate the threat, all the while making unlikely allies out of the deadly creatures. The game arrives in the U.S. on March 23.
