Sony has announced that PlayStation Home is getting updated tomorrow, adding a new navigator and reducing load times overall. According to the PlayStation Blog, version 1.35 has been created with the community in mind, and it addresses some of their biggest issues and concerns.

The new navigation breaks content down into handy categories, including user information such as favorite places, personal spaces and friends. An explore section makes it easier to browse the entirety of Home, and Sony can flag new and popular content through the recommend category.

The update will be going live tomorrow, and the service will be down temporarily during that period. Home’s load times were fairly long, and streamlining the overall interface is a wise move. Whether those tweaks are enough to get people who have shunned it so far remains to be seen. It’s certainly a great step, though.
