Mass Effect 2’s Firewalker DLC Dropping Late March

by Jeff Cork on Feb 26, 2010 at 09:35 AM

In Mass Effect 2, the updated Normandy comes complete with a landing shuttle. Characters are whisked down planetside without having to worry about tooling around aimlessly in an oddly buoyant ATV. Those of you who actually miss the Mako will get another chance to pilot a vehicle in late March. The Hammerhead assault hovercraft is going to be available as part of the Firewalker pack, which will be free to members of the game’s Cerberus Network. Since it’s a hovercraft, BioWare has its bases covered should it control like a friction-free waffle. Shepard will be able to tool around in the Hammerhead through five all-new missions. If the guided missiles mean we can actually aim downward, we’re as good as sold.
