New Character from Dragon Age: Origins Expansion Revealed

Now that we’re all done staring at the above image, we can talk about who this character from the upcoming Awakening expansion is. Her name is Velanna, a Dalish elf who has a bone to pick with the human race and apparently not enough leather to finish her costume. Seriously, who goes into battle dressed like that? Get yourself a leather cuirass already!

Here’s the actual description of Velanna, followed by a short video introduction:

“Humans took the Dalish elves’ lands, burned their cities to the ground, and forced their people to live as slaves. The Dalish have forgotten their language, culture, and history--all because of the humans. Now, they roam the land in ragged bands, holding onto the fragments of their past. Is it any wonder that hatred for humans runs deep in Velanna’s heart? Raised as a first to her clan’s keeper, Velanna knows how much has been lost, and her pride demands that her people lose no more. She is nature’s hand, an instrument of vengeance, and she will never submit.”
