Conduit Developer Goes Multiplatform

by Matthew Kato on Feb 05, 2010 at 10:02 AM

Conduit developer High Voltage made waves when it tried to bring first-person shooter action to the Wii, but now the developer is broadening its horizons with its new game The Grinder.

The developer talked to IGN about the first-person shooter, and revealed that the title is now coming for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC when it hits retail shelves on Halloween 2011. Because it's still early in the game's development cycle, High Voltage hasn't fleshed out exactly how the other platforms may or may not be different from the Wii version.

The Conduit was High Voltage's attempt at bringing the Wii a first-person shooter on par with the kind of genre experience available on the other more high-powered systems. Although the game only sold 350,000 copies according to the developer (check out our review here), High Voltage says it's proud of their efforts.
