PS3 Games Still Going to PSN

Peter Dille, Sony's senior vice president of marketing, recently gave an interview where he talked about PS3 games being available for download. While not all PS3 titles will be available, Sony has assured us that PS3 games will still be downloadable via PSN.
In an interview with IGN, Dille points out that we shouldn't expect to see all PS3 games available on the PSN network (where there are only a few) due to bandwidth constraints. We contacted a Sony representative who clarified some of the confusing reports popping up online regarding Dille's statements. The representative pointed out that Dille was referencing games like God of War III which are 50GB in size, but that this "was not an absolute statement towards all PS3 games." Dille himself says that PS3 games will continue to be offered in a variety of ways, including download, at retail, and both.
What do you think about games from this generation being offered as downloads? Does it matter to you?
