This weekend it's all about Mass Effect! Read on to find out how we plan on tackling the game, then head over to the comments section and let us know what you're playing this weekend.

Jeff C: This weekend my goal is to replay Mass Effect before diving into Mass Effect 2. I beat the first game when it first came out, but I really don’t remember any of the story. I’m going to run through it as a Renegade, which should at least be somewhat different from my first Paragon playthrough. Besides that, I really don’t have anything else to work on. Isn’t that enough, though?!

Kato: After having a tense 12 hours trying to get my original Mass Effect save to work (see my blog post for more), I've happily started Mass Effect 2, which I'll be playing plenty of this weekend. I'm still plugging away on Assassin's Creed II (I'm on my way to Venice), so I'm going to play that as well, because things are definitely starting to get interesting. Can I finish all this stuff by the time Heavy Rain comes out at the end of February? Perhaps, but I'm not going to count on it.

Meagan: This weekend I will be up north at the parent's cabin with some friends, so it's primarily Wii gaming for me. I plan on going back and revisiting Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles with a girlfriend and diving into Muramasa: The Demon Blade. Other than that, I intend to catch up on some comics, polish off my two new custom Munny creations, and spend time in the hot tub!

Tim: This weekend I'm hoping will be filled with so much planet mineral scanning, alien-shooting, and dynamic conversations that I somehow finish Mass Effect 2. The quicker I finish this beast, the quicker I can start another full playthrough starting with replaying the first game and transferring a bad character to ME2.

Annette: With all the Mass Effect 2 talk buzzing around the office this week, I bought the first game and intend on getting through as much of it as possible so I can dig in to ME2. Other than briefly stepping out the house for an eye exam and groceries, and continuing with P90X, I fully intend on being planted in front of my TV this weekend.

Dan: I'm staying on track with P90X after the great results we saw during the weigh-in this week. I'm heading to a bowling alley/karaoke bar tomorrow night, and my game of choice this weekend is going to be the original Mass Effect. Now that I know how to get off the *** Normandy, I might actually be able to finish the game. Protip - you have to land on the planet you want to go to...not just fly to it.

Jeff A: The Vikings loss this past weekend didn't hit me as hard as I thought it would. I suppose I learned my lesson not to get too attached after the '98 debacle. So close, yet as always, so far. With that being said, I'll try to find some time this weekend to devote to A Link to the Past. I've got five crystals and counting. Other than that, I might try to get into The Orange Box seeing how that title, too, is on my pile of shame. For some weird reason I've been itching to get back into Fallout 3 again. Yeah, as you can tell, all I do is play old games. What a life...

That's it for us! What are you playing this weekend?
