Classic Gaming Expo To Deliver Oldies, Goodies

by Jeff Cork on Jan 11, 2010 at 10:00 AM

If you're at all interested in retro gaming, you're going to want to free up a couple of dates in July and August. The Classic Gaming Expo, which includes panel discussions, musical acts and a massive swap meet, is set for July 31 and August 1 in Las Vegas. This year's guests include Activision's Steve Cartwright and David Crane; Electronic Games founders Arnie Katz, Bill Kunkel and Joyce Worley; Pong designer Al Alcorn and many more.

The expo is open to gamers of all ages. Check out the official site for registration information and other details. If you do plan on going, you'll probably want to start saving your pennies now. And you might also want to prepare yourself for the horrors of seeing the things you grew up with being referred to as being "classic."
