Grim Time For Gamers--Weekly Roundup 12/14
If you're looking to spend some cash this week on a new retail release...you have our deepest condolences. There are a couple of decent downloads this week, however, including Blaster Master and Earthworm Jim 2 on the Virtual Console and the Beatles' "Rubber Soul" for the Beatles: Rock Band. The big news is going to be the release of James Cameron's Avatar, which hits theaters on the 18th. It's been in production forever, at an estimated cost of 4,000 bajillion dollars, so it'll be interesting to see if the risks pay off. Reiner won't stop talking about how great the 3D effect is and how it will revolutionize the way we see movies. We've tried to explain that every waking moment of his life is also presented in 3D, but he doesn't seem to care. Oh well.
