It just isn’t a Final Fantasy without a Cid, and now Final Fantasy XIII continues with the tradition as a new character, Cid Raines, has been revealed.
Final Fantasy XIII’s Cid is a Sanctum officer and commander of an airship fleet. Based on the scans that have surfaced online, he also appears to be one of the youngest Cid's to grace a Final Fantasy title. The details on his character are still vague, so we'll most likely have to wait until the game's release to discover his true role. With Cid announced in Final Fantasy XIII, we can’t help but wonder if Biggs and Wedge will be revealed next.
