Tekken 6 Online To Get More Functional

by Joe Juba on Nov 24, 2009 at 06:46 AM

If you've been playing Tekken 6 online, you've probably had a few complaints. Thankfully, Namco Bandai announced today that player concerns regarding the game's spotty online performance will be addressed this week.

The announcement specifies that gamers can download a free update on Thursday, November 26 that will improve things like input response and search priorities for ranked matches. It will also add signal strength bars, as well as the option to cancel a match if you don't like your opponent's connection.

Now, Namco Bandai can call this a "free downloadable update" that will "enhance player's online gameplay experience," but those are just fancy ways of avoiding the negative connotations associated with calling this what it really is: a patch. Semantics aside, come Thanksgiving, you may want to revisit Tekken 6 to see how things have improved.
