Uncharted 2 Hits Million Mark

by Matthew Kato on Nov 12, 2009 at 11:03 AM

We gave Uncharted 2:Among Thieves a perfect 10 in our review (check it out here), and it seems that the game's sales are matching its critical success.

As of last week, the game has hit the coveted million units sold mark worldwide, according to an early peek at the NPD numbers by Geoff Keighley.

Uncharted 2's news is certainly significant in an industry that sees so few million-sellers, and on the one hand it's important given that many titles only hit this mark when they add up all the different versions of the game on different platforms. On the other, it is combining global sales. We wonder what the tally is for just here in America. Either way, developer Naughty Dog's series featuring adventurer Nathan Drake is a success.

How does everyone think the game will fare after the holiday rush given high the other high profile games that are hitting the shelves? Do you think when combined with the PS3's price drop Uncharted 2 will help move more consoles?
