Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Headed To US

by Tim Turi on Nov 06, 2009 at 06:05 AM

Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey may have already released in Japan last year to much critical acclaim, but that doesn’t mean us Westerners shouldn’t get a chance to dive into the DS RPG. If exploring massive, pulsating black voids sounds like your kind of adventure, than let me tell you more.

Strange Journey is the first “main line” Shin Megami Tensei game since 2003’s Nocturne, tapping into the same dark science-fiction setting. Players trek through dungeons, team up with demons, and work to uncover the secret of the malevolent mass spreading across the South Pole. With a name like “Strange Journey,” the game has hard acts to follow considering other Shin Megami spin-offs involve jumping into TVs and characters shooting themselves in the head to unlock alter egos.

Keep the cartridge slot of your DS available for Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey when it releases on March 10, 2010.
